The energy of these people, they just wanted it. You wanted to be around this place. I wanted to be around these people for a long time.
As a student at American University, ranked No. 1 for most politically active students by the Princeton Review, I was immersed completely in politics from the moment I set foot on campus. From live tweeting debates in our dorm rooms, to getting up at an ungodly hour to be first in line for Ted and Caroline Kennedy to endorse Barack Obama for President, to celebrating Obama’s victory on election night in front of the White House, my passion and excitement for politics grew. After college I was able pursue work that allowed me to sharpen my skills in public relations, media relations, social media, and communications in education, non-profit, and athletic industries. The state of our country after the 2016 elections led me here, to put my skills to work getting Democrats elected across the country.
I was a receptionist at my local ice skating rink checking skaters in for their sessions.
"It was also one of those things where you just felt it. You knew something was happening. The energy of these people, they just wanted it. You wanted to be around this place. I wanted to be around these people for a long time." – Jennifer Aniston
