Obstacles are opportunities. Seek criticism. Lose your ego. Learn from your mistakes.
Background
I was raised in Accomack, Virginia on the Eastern Shore of Virginia by a father who was an army veteran and entrepreneur and a mother who was a state food service employee. While attending Virginia Tech I discovered my affinity for Graphic Design and began to dabble as a freelancer. I moved to the DC area in 2009, where I worked as a contracted graphic designer in an array of industries including: advertising, non-profit, education and politics.
First Job
I worked with my father who owned a plumbing and electrician company, Sample & Sons Plumbing and Electric.
