Working with the NAACP, we designed a mail program that targeted a group of low propensity African-American voters in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Using the “Vote: Our Lives Depend On It” tagline and graphic suite provided to us by the organization, we designed a multilayered voter contact program that included commit to vote cards, door hangers and mail. We created the same cover for each general mail run (we did three in total) with variable backs that gave state-specific voting information. We also used the same common cover with variable backs for the door hangers and commit to vote cards.
